Serving Couples Across Ontario
Are you and your partner feeling distant, stuck, or emotionally exhausted?
At Mindful With You, we provide professional couples therapy across Ontario — guiding couples to reconnect, heal, and grow stronger together.
We understand the relationship stress, emotional disconnect, and lack of communication that many couples silently suffer from. Our therapy sessions offer a new path — paved with support rooted in empathy, guidance, and proven techniques.

Why Couples Choose Therapy
Couples can sometimes find themselves caught in painful patterns — the same arguments, growing distance, and a quiet fading of closeness. But therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis; it’s also a powerful way to nurture your relationship, strengthen your emotional bond, and grow together intentionally. Choosing therapy is a way of saying, we still choose us — even when things feel hard.
With the support of a compassionate, experienced therapist, couples can work through conflict, heal emotional wounds, and reconnect in more meaningful ways. Our approach helps uncover the deeper layers beneath the tension, fostering greater intimacy, trust, and mutual understanding.
Thousands of couples across Ontario are choosing therapy not as a last resort, but as a proactive way to protect what matters most.

Do both partners need to attend every session?Yes. In couples therapy, our client is you as a couple. You are both welcome to seek your own individual therapy in addition to your couples therapy.
-
What types of therapy are used in teen counselling sessions? Our therapists use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFIT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy and creative techniques — tailored specifically to each teen’s personality, goals and needs.
-
Why should I consider counselling for my teenager?Teen counselling provides a safe, non-judgmental space for teens to talk about emotions, mental health, and daily struggles. Whether your teen is dealing with anxiety, school pressure, or low self-esteem, professional support helps them develop healthy coping strategies and long-term emotional resilience.
-
How do I know if my teen needs therapy?Warning signs may include mood swings, social withdrawal, constant worry, drop in academic performance, sleep issues, or open statements of hopelessness. If your teen seems overwhelmed or emotionally stuck, therapy can provide early support and a safe space.
-
Is online teen therapy effective?Yes—online teen therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions for many issues such as anxiety, depression, academic stress, and self-esteem. Virtual sessions offer teens privacy, comfort, convenience, and flexibility across Ontario.
-
How quickly will we see progress in teen counselling?Every individual is different, but many begin to feel more supported and emotionally balanced after just the first session. Progress depends on the individual’s openness, the issues being addressed, and consistency in attending sessions. Our therapists are also available to guide parents on how to support growth at home.
-
What if I’ve never tried therapy before? That’s completely okay. Our therapists make the process easy, welcoming, and paced to your comfort — explaining each step and answering your questions along the way.
-
How do I know if therapy is right for me as a young adult? If you're struggling with anxiety, stress, career pressure, or relationship issues — or simply feeling lost — therapy can help you gain clarity, skills, and confidence to move forward. The process is yours, we are just here to guide you along the way. Our goal is to meet you where you are at and bring you to where you want to be.
-
Can therapy help with academic and career stress?Absolutely. Our therapists offer career guidance, academic stress management, and decision-making tools to help you handle pressure and plan your future confidently.
-
Is online therapy effective for young adults?Yes — online therapy offers the same expert support as in-person sessions, with the convenience of attending from anywhere. Many young adults prefer the flexibility and comfort of virtual sessions.
-
How do online parenting therapy sessions work? You’ll meet your therapist through a secure video platform, where you’ll receive the same quality support as in-person sessions — all from the comfort of home. Your goals will be discussed in the first session and will be worked on collaboratively throughout the therapy experience.
-
Can parenting therapy address challenges with multiple children?Yes. Our therapists are experienced in helping families with multiple children and complex dynamics, including blended and stepfamilies.
-
Is parenting therapy only for parents with serious issues? Not at all. Parenting therapy is helpful for any parent wanting to improve communication, reduce stress, and better understand their child — no crisis required.
-
Do you offer evening or weekend therapy in Ontario?Yes. We provide flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
-
Can we get therapy even if we’re not married?Absolutely. We work with all types of partnerships.
-
I’m not in a crisis—can I still benefit from therapy?Yes! Therapy is not just for crisis situations. Many women come to counseling for emotional support, self-care, and personal growth.
-
Will I be judged or rushed to talk about difficult experiences?Never. Your pace is respected 100%. We create a safe, judgment-free zone for you to share when you’re ready.
-
Are there therapists who specialize in women’s issues?Absolutely. We have registered professionals trained in perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, body image work, grief counseling, and identity development.
-
Is my information confidential?Yes. All sessions are completely confidential and handled with professional care and ethical standards.
-
Can I access therapy even if I live outside major Ontario cities?Yes! Our online women’s therapy services cover all of Ontario, including remote and underserved areas.
-
Will I be judged if I struggle to express emotions? Not at all. This space is free of judgment and pressure. We move at your pace and focus on what feels most relevant to you. You don’t have to be “good” at expressing your emotions to benefit from therapy.
-
Can I get therapy without telling my workplace or family?Absolutely. Everything is confidential, and no one is informed unless you give permission.
-
Is therapy really helpful for men?Absolutely. Many men find therapy to be a safe and productive space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface—whether it's stress, anger, anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in life. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start. Therapy can help you gain clarity, feel more in control, and build a stronger connection with yourself and others.
-
What can I expect in my first session? The first session is really just a conversation to get to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and answer any questions you might have. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. Think of it as a starting point to get to know each other and figure out how therapy can best support you.
-
Do you offer therapy for fathers and parenting issues?Yes. We support dads navigating fatherhood, co-parenting, and the stress that comes with modern parenting roles.
-
Is individual counselling in Ontario confidential?Yes. We follow all professional and provincial guidelines to keep your therapy private, safe, and secure—especially in online sessions.
-
Will therapy help me if I’m not in a crisis?Absolutely. Many clients use therapy as a form of self-care, growth, and prevention—not just crisis management.
-
How long is a session?Standard sessions are 50 minutes, but we also offer extended sessions (75–90 minutes) if needed.
